This veteran cyclist has been on the road since 1988. He started off by winning a bronze medal in the Ironman of that same year, and since then he was the Northern Free State veteran time trail and road champion for three consecutive years, starting 1997.

In total he has completed the Argus 10 times and in the 2003 Argus he came in 8th in his category, and finished 308th overall with a time of 2:51.

Johnny has been on the go for 6 years now, and in that six he has received National Colours for biathlon in 1999 and 2001, being the SA champ in the same event in 2000.

In 2002 he won the Powerman Series in the men's open division.

Johnny will be the one to see for overall maintenance and any other repairs on your favorite bike. He is also a very competent wheel builder.
